1. Policy Overview

This Service Refund Policy (“Policy”) is an integral part of the Terms of Service governing all in-person or on-premise services provided by Ox2 Net Corp. (“we”, “us”, “our”), including but not limited to plumbing, handyman services, biohazard cleanup, waste removal, general contracting, and residential or commercial renovation work.

By requesting or accepting any service quotation, invoice, or job completion from us, you (“Client”, “Customer”, “You”) irrevocably agree to the terms set forth herein.

Ox2 Net Corp. operates under a strict no-refund policy for most on-site services, except where explicitly required by provincial or federal law in British Columbia, Canada.


2. Non-Refundable Services

All services rendered by Ox2 Net Corp. are deemed non-refundable, including but not limited to:

  • Plumbing diagnostics, inspections, or repair labor
  • Emergency service calls or urgent dispatches
  • Tool usage, machinery deployment, or rental charges
  • Biohazard cleaning, mold removal, and waste disposal
  • Structural, drywall, carpentry, and flooring repairs
  • Paint, finishing, or cosmetic improvements
  • Electrical, HVAC, ventilation, and appliance services
  • On-site consultations or professional assessments
  • Job-specific permits, materials, or supply purchases
  • Deposits or retainer fees for scheduling or job reservation
  • Travel, fuel, or transportation fees associated with mobile service units

Once a service has been scheduled, initiated, or performed—no refund will be issued.


3. Deposits and Retainers

Deposits, typically ranging from 20% to 50% of the total job value, are non-refundable and are used to secure personnel, schedule logistics, order materials, or reserve contractor availability. Cancellation or delay by the Client will result in forfeiture of the full deposit without exception.


4. Service Quality and Dispute Resolution

Ox2 Net Corp. stands behind the professional execution of its services. If you believe there is a legitimate issue with the quality of work:

  • You must submit a written complaint within 48 hours of service completion
  • You must include photographic or video evidence of the alleged defect
  • Our team must be granted access to inspect, assess, or remedy the issue
  • We reserve the right to repair, not refund, any service deemed unsatisfactory by our internal evaluation

No complaint will be processed if:

  • You altered, tampered with, or interfered with the original service
  • Another contractor was hired to rework the same area
  • The issue is caused by external factors (e.g., weather, wear, building code changes)

5. Fraud Prevention and Abuse Policy

Ox2 Net Corp. enforces a zero-tolerance policy for refund abuse, false claims, or bad-faith disputes. If we determine, in our sole discretion, that a client has engaged in fraudulent, misleading, or harassing conduct, including:

  • Requesting refunds for work knowingly completed
  • Falsely denying job delivery or access
  • Initiating a chargeback without first contacting Ox2 Net Corp.
  • Falsifying photographs, invoices, or communications

We reserve the right to:

  • Suspend all pending and future services
  • Pursue legal collection action
  • Report the client to local law enforcement under:
    • Criminal Code of Canada, Section 362 – False Pretence
    • Criminal Code, Section 380 – Fraud over $5,000
  • File civil claims under the Small Claims Act (British Columbia) or other provincial frameworks

6. Legal Jurisdiction and Governing Law

This Policy is governed exclusively by the laws of British Columbia, Canada, including:

  • Business Practices and Consumer Protection Act (BPCPA), SBC 2004, c.2
  • Sale of Goods Act, RSBC 1996, c.410
  • Local municipal bylaws governing contracting and trade services

Clients agree to submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Provincial Courts of British Columbia. Any dispute, refund claim, or billing reversal shall be handled in Vancouver, BC, regardless of the client’s location.

No international consumer protections, including EU withdrawal rights or U.S. fair trade doctrines, shall apply.


7. Chargebacks, Reversals, and Legal Fees

Initiating a chargeback or payment reversal without cause constitutes a breach of contract. Clients who file unauthorized chargebacks agree to pay:

  • A minimum penalty of $150.00 CAD
  • All associated legal, administrative, and collection costs
  • Bank investigation and recovery fees
  • Interest at 2.5% per month (non-compounding) until the full balance is recovered

Ox2 Net Corp. may submit your case to legal counsel or a licensed collections agency.


8. Policy Modifications

This Refund Policy may be updated without prior notice. Continued use of our services constitutes acceptance of any such updates.

We recommend clients retain a copy of this Policy for their personal records.
