Terms of Service: Plumbing, Handyman & Restoration Services

1. INTRODUCTION

This Terms of Service Agreement (“Agreement”) governs the provision of plumbing, handyman, and property restoration services (“Services”) offered by Ox2 Net Corp. (“Company”, “we”, “us”, or “our”) to clients (“Client”, “you”, or “your”). This Agreement applies to all work carried out in British Columbia, Canada, including consultations, emergency repairs, installations, property restorations, and scheduled maintenance.

By requesting or accepting our services, you agree to be bound by this Agreement.

2. SCOPE OF SERVICES

Ox2 Net Corp. offers professional services in the following areas:

  • Plumbing (residential and commercial)
  • General handyman tasks
  • Water damage restoration
  • Fire and smoke damage mitigation
  • Mould removal and sanitation
  • Property repair and maintenance

All services are carried out by qualified professionals and in accordance with applicable codes and standards in British Columbia.

3. ELIGIBILITY

Clients must be 18 years or older and legally capable of entering into binding service contracts. You warrant that you are the legal property owner or have the authority to request services at the specified location.

4. JURISDICTION AND GOVERNING LAW

This Agreement is governed by the laws of the Province of British Columbia and applicable federal laws of Canada. Disputes shall be resolved in the courts of British Columbia.

5. WARRANTIES & LIABILITY

Ox2 Net Corp. provides a 12-month limited workmanship warranty for all standard services unless otherwise stated in writing. Manufacturer warranties apply to supplied materials.

We are not liable for:

  • Pre-existing structural issues
  • Delays caused by weather, supplier shortages, or third-party contractors
  • Damages caused by client misuse or negligence
  • Incidental or consequential damages exceeding the cost of services rendered

6. CLIENT RESPONSIBILITIES

Clients agree to:

  • Provide accurate information about the property and requested service
  • Ensure clear and safe access to work areas
  • Pay all applicable fees as invoiced
  • Notify us of any special requirements or hazardous conditions

7. ESTIMATES AND PAYMENTS

Written estimates are valid for 30 days. Final costs may vary based on actual conditions discovered during service. Payment terms:

  • 50% deposit for scheduled work
  • Balance due upon completion
  • Emergency services billed at time-and-materials rate unless otherwise agreed

Unpaid balances beyond 15 days will incur a 2% monthly interest charge.

8. CANCELLATION & RESCHEDULING

Clients may cancel or reschedule up to 24 hours before a scheduled appointment without penalty. Late cancellations may incur a $75 fee.

9. SAFETY & COMPLIANCE

Our technicians follow WorkSafeBC safety regulations. Clients are expected to cooperate to ensure a safe working environment.

10. SERVICE LIMITATIONS

Services do not include:

  • Structural engineering
  • Major construction requiring building permits (unless explicitly contracted)
  • Utility location or municipal inspections (unless requested)

11. TERMINATION OF SERVICE

Ox2 Net Corp. may suspend or terminate service for:

  • Non-payment
  • Unsafe site conditions
  • Repeated cancellations or uncooperative behavior

12. MODIFICATIONS

We may update this Agreement as needed. Continued use of our services after updates implies acceptance of the revised terms.

13. DISPUTE RESOLUTION

Disputes shall be resolved through mediation or binding arbitration in Vancouver, BC, unless otherwise agreed in writing. Clients waive the right to participate in class actions.

14. ENTIRE AGREEMENT

This Agreement represents the entire understanding between Ox2 Net Corp. and the Client for the Services described herein, superseding prior written or oral agreements.
